ScottG Posted October 24, 2018 Share #1 Posted October 24, 2018 I guess I will start this topic with this nice Prussian helmet and 29th Rgt cover. This was brought home by a Jackson Michigan veteran who served in the 26th Engineers. Not really my area of collecting, but the price was way too good to pass on and I have an ancestor that immigrated to California that actually served in the 29th Rgt. Though at a much earlier time. Thanks and I hope you all enjoy it! Scott.

patches Posted October 24, 2018 Share #3 Posted October 24, 2018 Pretty decent shape, is the helmet itself dated 1915? 1915 made helmets typically have grey panted hardware.

ScottG Posted November 1, 2018 Author Share #11 Posted November 1, 2018 Thanks guys, I will try to share some more soon. I have been working on cleaning out another museum collection and it is taking a lot of time... When done, it will yield several thousand pieces from the Civil War through Desert Storm.
