Estate sale find. No additional info from the sellers. Made of aluminum, 1mm/.039inch. Measures approx. 17.5 x 11.5 inches/45 x 29.5 cm. Aircraft panel? No writing or Kanji. The darker images are etched into the metal's surface. I have searched maps of pacific Islands to try and identify where this most likely was made and, so far, the closest I could come were the islands of Biak and Supiori. The small image at the top could possibly be an aircraft carrier. Any help in itentifying the location is much appreciated.

Thanks, Al

After searching on line of all of the campaigns and battles in the Pacific, I believe that the illustration on the tray is of the islands of Biak and Supiori, Not an exact match to the maps of the islands, but close enough for me. What do you think? The battle for Biak was a nasty one.

Thanks, Al
