Tony v Posted October 31, 2018 Share #1 Posted October 31, 2018 Just picked this up recently. This style of sword was used by the Army, Cavalry and Navy officers from 1883 to 1945. The Navy swords have no side pieces on the back strap. Blade is 26 inches and has an elongated hilt with the peg holding the blade in the scabbard.
