stratasfan Posted November 4, 2018 Share #1 Posted November 4, 2018 Oh, I've been wanting to track this down for ages now! (My Dad is Cuban, actually born in Cuba and his parents came over escaping Castro . . . so I always like finding pre-Castro Cuban stuff!) Got this button (about the size of a small brass USN/USCG button. It has the Cuban seal on it. Would love to figure out what it came from and when it is from! So, if anyone has any ideas . . . would love to hear any thoughts! I tried getting pics that show detail -- One more pic coming . . .

Boy Howdy Posted August 14, 2021 Share #3 Posted August 14, 2021 Since they don't have a wreath around the coat of arms I'm going to say Castro era. Before 1959 they looked like this picture.

Boy Howdy Posted August 14, 2021 Share #5 Posted August 14, 2021 Looks that way. But whats strange is my circa late 70's to late 80's buckle has the wreath so maybe I am wr wr wr wrong? Then in the late 80's-early 90's they also had this FAR buckle. "Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias"
