These are the eight Coldstream officers who died at Inkerman (5 Nov 1854). I've found pictures for two (Cowell and Disbrowe) but would like one for all of them. I've even managed to trace family of two or three of the others, but they can't find a picture either. It's got to be hoped that friends of the officers had them. (So, if anyone has Crimean War photos with matching names . . . by all means, PM me! -big grin- )
64 years ago today, these eight young men died in the Crimea. They were buried at Scutari, in a group plot with a lovely monument. Sadly, the cemetery was razed by the communists.
