I will begin a thread on camouflage jackets as worn by the SS troops in WW2.

Here’s some stacked up

I will try to post a jacket per day.

There has been only 1 jacket that has changed the face of 20th century warfare.
Designed with concealment in mind for attack shock troops with ideas borne on the First World War.
Camouflage was borne into life with the VT jacket:
The design was like no other reaching back into the primitive farmers over smock.
The designs were hand drawn and studies of nature.
I present the camouflage jacket.

You can see the pattern cut marks easily

The printing screened fabric had loose match ups allowing for errors
Here you can see the degree of allowance with the base color creeping through
