Tony v Posted November 9, 2018 Share #1 Posted November 9, 2018 Found this the other day, wondering if it may be a French para wing? Tony
patches Posted November 9, 2018 Share #2 Posted November 9, 2018 That's what it looks like, not sure on time period, maybe it's Indochinese made?
Tonomachi Posted November 9, 2018 Share #3 Posted November 9, 2018 It is a French paratrooper wing but I don't think it is a legitimate one. It looks like maybe a theater made piece but I don't think so. You see these every now and then. I was told once that these were given out during some event awhile back. I don't have specifics as I forgot what was explained to me a long time ago.

509thPIB Posted November 10, 2018 Share #5 Posted November 10, 2018 Tony: This is a sand cast version of the French Parachute Brevet. While original Indochina made examples do exist, they have also been heavily faked. My first impression is that they are fake and I would need more information to confirm this. I have several documented examples in my collection which I obtained directly from Indochina veterans.
