daniel griffin Posted November 9, 2018 Share #1 Posted November 9, 2018 Interesting Haitian belt buckle and cartridge box plate from the time of US occupation. I was told that the buckles were worn by USMC troops serving in the Haitian Constabulary.

PaulR Posted November 12, 2018 Share #3 Posted November 12, 2018 Where are these referenced? I've never heard of these before.
warguy Posted November 12, 2018 Share #4 Posted November 12, 2018 Neat pieces Dan. I have a UsMC 1911 Montana peak campaign officers hat with one of these as a hat insignia worn by a Marine officer in Haiti. The insignia in that case is bronze. If they were wearing cap prices and collar insignia, would make sense to me they were wearing buckles. Thanks for sharing
