Mmerc20 Posted December 29, 2018 Share #2 Posted December 29, 2018 I was there at Camp Eagle in 98-99 which closed I think 15 years ago. Camp Humphrys was our higher HQ so I had been there a lot too. I saw pictures and it's amazing how much it's improved! They say the military and civilian population at the camp after expansion will be up to 36,000! I wasn't a beer drinker then but was a big Soju person. I was the only one in my unit that ever came back to the barracks with a case. "Combat" bottles were a regular thing. triplecanopy Posted January 7, 2019 Share #4 Posted January 7, 2019 I spent time there in 1988 and hoisted a few OB's. It was cold anyway and not too bad. Perhaps there should be a military beer section on this forum.
