gwb123 Posted December 2, 2018 Share #1 Posted December 2, 2018 I stumbled on this looking for something else: 150 Years of Japanese Uniforms Illustrated Encyclopedia https://otaku.com/products/43228 When they use the term "uniform", it is in a very broad sense as it includes police, magistrates, and rescue swimmers, as well a civilian professions. It is actually intended to be a drawing guide for artists. But perhaps worth a look for those interested in the subject. And yes, it is written in Japanese. Interestingly, none of the WWII uniforms appear on the cover.
MattS Posted December 3, 2018 Share #2 Posted December 3, 2018 Interesting book, the description of the IJN Commander's uniform on the left looks basic (but I don't read Japanese either!).
