Mortaydc60 Posted December 28, 2018 Author Share #26 Posted December 28, 2018 Perhaps the word situation was a poor choice;what was meant was the badge was awarded or whatever you want to call that and that it was not the badge of the unit ie. the 3rd Zouvaves badge is not the 509th and the Malaysian badge is not the badge of the 136 force. Did not mean to imply anything as to their record of service or action taken by the unit in relation to that of the 509th service. That is about as good a legalize language to explain what I meant. I think I mentioned it was part of SOE and obviously understood that units are not 100% one nationality but it was mainly made up of Canadian Chinese to the information I have seen available.
