Gunslinger Posted January 1, 2019 Share #3 Posted January 1, 2019 142 Company Royal Indian Army Service Corps * R.I.A.S.C * was a cover name for the 142 Commando Company much like 3rd Indian Infantry Division for * Chindits *. Was formed from troops that previously served in the SOE 204 Mission * British Army Aid Group * in China. Some were Commandos ( I believe 7 & 8 Cdo) from the Middle East, when returning to India troops were reassigned with 142 Commando and others with Force 136. CDub Link to comment
