The Aguilas Aztecas were attached and flew with the US 58th Fighter Group in the Philippines during the later part of WWII. They were a P-47 Thunderbolt squadron. Along with the cap I've shown a photo of some of the squadron pilots in front of their hut in the Philippines. The cap is marked on the inside with the manufacturer's name and Mexico City.
