Brian Keith Posted January 25, 2019 Share #1 Posted January 25, 2019 A buddy in England sent this to me several years ago. He said they are not very common and some of his collector buddies didnt want him to send it to the states. Thanks for looking, BKW Link to comment
stratasfan Posted January 25, 2019 Share #2 Posted January 25, 2019 Super cool! Fun how they put the man's height range on their size label. Never seen that. Out of curiosity . . . is the wool really fuzzy and scratchy? Or nicer? Link to comment
Scarecrow Posted January 25, 2019 Share #3 Posted January 25, 2019 Brian, You are correct those RN working dress jackets can be difficult to locate. Nice one there! Paul Link to comment
Brian Keith Posted January 27, 2019 Author Share #4 Posted January 27, 2019 Thanks for the comments. The wool is rather "fuzzy and scratchy", not as nice as a US enlisted man's "Ike" jacket. British uniform labels and sizing are a bit different from US. Glad you enjoyed seeing it. BKW Link to comment
numbersix Posted August 14, 2021 Share #5 Posted August 14, 2021 These wartime jackets, with the matching trousers, were also issued to Officer Cadets at Britannia Royal Naval College Dartmouth in the 1950s and 60s. Link to comment
