Downsizing our family stamp collections, and am sorting through everything and found these so I thought I'd share a few censored covers. Always like finding censor strips and censor stamps on covers.

Feel free to post any of your WWII covers with censor marks on them, if you have any!

First, a cover posted 12 Apr 1940 from Hamburg to Flushing, New York. Two really nice cancellations over three postage stamps. On the back, a really nice censor tape.

Second, this was posted 1 July 1941 from Hamburg 33 to Little Neck, New York. Has three fainter but clear cancellations over two postage stamps. The back has a nice censor tape as well as censor stamps over the tape. This is the coolest feeling envelope, being super thin and slightly translucent. Very lightweight!
