Guest Windraider Posted February 13, 2019 Share #1 Posted February 13, 2019 Hello, nothing special but I still find interesting to show. Got this helmet from the estate of its wearer. It is an early M56 helmet with riveted early inner lining, made until 1968. The helmet cover has been attached to it for some time and shows clear traces of wear. The cover is made of Strichtarn Pattern II.

Guest Windraider Posted March 24, 2019 Share #3 Posted March 24, 2019 Here the rest of the helmet Made in 1959. The helmet has the early configurations. The cushions made of sponge rubber are fastened with strings and the cheek guards are sewn on. Later, the sponge rubbers were attached with split pins and the cheek guards postponed. Red Devil Posted March 26, 2019 Share #4 Posted March 26, 2019 Nice early example! Even the variations with late suspension seem to be getting harder to find these days.
