CNY Militaria Posted February 15, 2019 Share #1 Posted February 15, 2019 I have this statue topper thing that is quite heavy, but extremely detailed and well made. I am not sure what it represents or says, and was hoping someone who collects this era or knows about these can help? Anything is appreciated as I am a US collector. Thank you! Hermann Posted February 16, 2019 Share #7 Posted February 16, 2019 Seinen scheidenden kameraden = his departing comrades Captain von Harnier (= his rank and name) So, captain von Harnier left the Guard Infantry Bataillon in 1911 and got this small statue as a present from his fellow officers.
