I have this statue topper thing that is quite heavy, but extremely detailed and well made. I am not sure what it represents or says, and was hoping someone who collects this era or knows about these can help? Anything is appreciated as I am a US collector. Thank you! Justin

Not sure about he top two lines.

Here's the rest.

“Herr Haupman” = Captain

“von harnier” = from Harnier

“das Offizier Corps” = the Officer Corps

“des” = of

“Garde-Schutzen” = Guard Rifles

“Battailons” = Battalions

Seinen scheidenden kameraden = his departing comrades

Captain von Harnier (= his rank and name)

So, captain von Harnier left the Guard Infantry Bataillon in 1911 and got this small statue as a present from his fellow officers.

Cheers

Herman
