edstorey Posted February 16, 2019 Share #2 Posted February 16, 2019 That example is in great condition. Commander's messages were a common way in which to communicate with and pass on praise to all ranks of an army formation. Quite a few of them were written on various topics during the war years and they were printed and distributed down to regiment level to be read by everyone. Link to comment
tanks1921 Posted February 17, 2019 Author Share #3 Posted February 17, 2019 Yes, there are a few Alexander messages from different time periods. Would be neat to find all of them. Thanks. Link to comment
