Here are a few pieces out of my RAF and Commonwealth insignia collection. At the top of the photo, you can see a pilot's brevet worn by a flyer in the Royal New Zealand Air Force, RNZAF. It is hand embroidered.

The next wing that we see is a Royal Australian Air Force Pilot's brevet. This piece is Canadian made and machine embroidered. You will note that the blue wreath is a medium or royal blue. The bottom wing is hand embroidered and shows the wreath in a Cambridge blue. The metal miniature wings are sweetheart pieces.

Here are a few more brevets from the Royal Australian Air Force. The wing on the left is a Canadian made Wireless Operator Gunner wing. Again, note the medium blue wreath. The middle wing is an Aussie made Observer brevet. The wing on the right is an Aerial Gunner brevet. It is also Australian made and hand embroidered. I cannot emphasize enough just how ornate and beautifully made these brevets are.

I hope you've enjoyed getting a glimpse of these insignia.
