Old Marine Posted February 25, 2019 Share #1 Posted February 25, 2019 This is a Napoleonic Commemorative medal or Jeton. So far, I haven't been able to find out much about it to figure out exactly what it is, or when it was struck. Years ago I was told by a coin dealer that this was struck to commemorate an 1833 reunion of the veterans of Napoleon's Grand Army. Basically a Napoleonic veteran challenge coin. That could be, but I have never been able to positively identify it, or seen another one like it. If anyone knows anything about this please let me know. This measures about 13/8 inches in diameter.
