Japanese Meiji period Tanto with a 17th century blade mounted in a boxwood tsuka and saya carved with dragons and a phoenix. Inlays of ivory, mother of pearl, horn and onyx. Total length 17 3/4”

That is a beauty, you just dont see expert carvings like this anymore on weapons which is a shame.
