Kanemono Posted March 8, 2019 Share #1 Posted March 8, 2019 Here is a Luger P08 captured by Corporal Augustus C. Laning Jr., Battery F of the 109th Field Artillery, 28th Division. Laning was severely wounded by shell fire at Apremont on October 4, 1918. The pistol was made by DWM and is dated 1915. At some point in its life the Luger was converted to .22. I was told that was how the Luger was brought home Everything matches, even the magazine, except for the toggle assembly.
