Unique NZ Badge Collection-WWII

This collection was obtained in Houston, Texas many years ago. It was sent to a young woman in 1946 following her request for insignia from the New Zealand forces. The original transmittal and documentation from the NZ Quartermaster have survived making this grouping quite unique. There are 40+ vintage cap badges and 20-30 pieces of cloth insignia. Some of the cap badges I imagine are quite scarce. Hope you enjoy. Bobgee

That's a pretty amazing collection of badges. I am amazed that the NZ Army took that much time to ID and sent that much stuff. Great stuff Bob.

Agree, Dennis. Really amazing response. Bob

Hi,

I apologise for digging out this old topic but one of these badges looks to be the larger NZE badge worn by the NZ Tunnelers in the First World War. So probably the rarer badge in this amazing collection.

Would it be possible to have closer pictures of this badge (front and back)?

Did they specify that it was the pattern of the Tunnelers?
