triplecanopy Posted May 31, 2019 Share #2 Posted May 31, 2019 The handle and release lever looks like that of an M-14 Bayonet, but the small projection opposite the release lever makes me think that it is a late Post WWII M-1 Garand Bayonet. That is about the only rifle I can imagine it would fit on. The small metal projection might fit inside the gas port access screw. That is my guess anyway.
