Hi friend, here are some uniforms we have and wanted to know more about them.

Any ideas are welcome.

Not my field of expertise but the short uniform far left with sabretache and the dolman look like similar ones I have seen of Napoleonic wars' Hussars. Have you checked 5th French Hussars?

Thank you so much. Any thoughts on the other two (any leads would be helpful). The buttons on the peacoat are for Virginia. I'll post that in the other forum.

Okay, it's my understanding that padded "Dolman" jackets like the one depicted in the center were worn over the left shoulder above the uniform. So maybe the one far left and the one in the center were worn together once? But as I said, not my specialty.

They all look like theatrical costumes.

Yes they are, my post should have clarified, I'm merely hoping for ID of what these costumes represent.

The grey frock coat is supposed to represent a US Civil War period Captain in the Confederate Infantry as shown by the three stripes on the blue collar.

Fantastic. Thank you.

Anyone have ideas on the other two?
