BEAST Posted January 17, 2020 Share #1 Posted January 17, 2020 I was flipping through channels Sunday night and ran across this TV drama being shown on public television. From our friends at Wikipedia, it was a BBC production and released in 2015. It only ran for one season. "The Crimson Field is a British period drama television series that was broadcast beginning on BBC One on 6 April 2014. The series shows the lives of medics and the patients at a fictional field hospital in France during the First World War." I've seen two episodes so far and am disappointed that additional seasons weren't released. https://www.pbs.org/show/crimson-field/
Scarecrow Posted January 20, 2020 Share #2 Posted January 20, 2020 Hey Beast, i also was a fan of the series. Well done and well acted. My wife was even a fan because of the nursing slant to the show. We were both disappointed when it was not renewed. It's always all about ratings. gwb123 Posted January 25, 2020 Share #3 Posted January 25, 2020 If you like this, you will also like ANZAC Girls, about the nurses from Australia and New Zealand. Well filmed and well paced, it was tough to watch at times given what these women went through. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ANZAC_Girls
