ScottG Posted November 2, 2018 #1 Posted November 2, 2018 This was brought home by my Uncle who served in the 573rd SAW BN. He served from D-Day through the end of the war and this was taken at the Bulge. Scott

ScottG Posted November 7, 2018 Author #10 Posted November 7, 2018 Its an awesome piece Scott. Did he ever tell you anything about who it belonged to? No, I got it from my Second Cousin who had received it from my Great Grandmother... I knew my Great Uncle quite well and he was alive until 2006, but he never mentioned the souvenirs. This pennant along with a Red Cross badge (German) a couple of medals and a small party flag were in a Bible box and were given to me just a couple of years ago. Scott
jmd62 Posted November 7, 2018 #11 Posted November 7, 2018 Great looking pennant with amazing quality!

Rakkasan187 Posted November 22, 2018 #13 Posted November 22, 2018 Scott, A little late to the party but this is an incredible piece and to know it belong to family is even better Leigh
ScottG Posted November 23, 2018 Author #14 Posted November 23, 2018 Thanks Leigh, its certainly a bit out of my realm of collecting, but since it was brought home by my Uncle, it has a home in my collection. Scott
Bugme Posted November 23, 2018 #15 Posted November 23, 2018 The Germans sure knew something about quality and detail. This is one very historical pennant.
