Strichtarn Helmet Cover & Hood

This is the rain pattern (Strichtarn) pattern of camouflage steel helmet cover and hood. When folded up it is attached, as a cover, to the M56 steel helmet with the drawstring securing it over the top of the helmet. It can then have the net face shield pulled down by unbuttoning it from the cover and letting it fall over the face. The cover can also be removed completely from the helmet and it can be worn as a hood utilizing the drawstring to tighten it about the face and neck.

 

A very versatile piece of camouflage equipment.
