French Airborne Retriement doll in killer camo uniform

So I have seen these on rare occasions over the last forty years and always wanted one.

 

They are usually white faced dolls and are wearing French Lizard pattern camo uniforms.

 

This one isn't either of the above. I believe it is for one of the colonial units, either Mauritania or Madagascar, I'm sure Eric Queen can correct me.

 

But what is killer is the mini airborne wings and beret badge and the fact that this doll is wearing repurposed SS camo. I think that is way better then standard lizard camo......

 

I bought this from Eric a few years ago and it has been on the same shelf until today when I pulled it down to photograph it ( as you can see by the dust build up) and have had it hidden so that Owen doesn't see it when he comes over. It's another of my favorite pieces....
