Brian Keith Posted January 19, 2019 Share #3 Posted January 19, 2019 Nice vest, I didn't see many ANA while I was there (2012-2013), saw some border patrol and police. I should have paid more attention to what they were wearing. I did bring back some ANA uniforms one of my interpreters got for me. I didn't bring back any ANA gear, just never had the opportunity to get some. I did send back a bunch of the gear my interpreters wore, but it is all US issue. We were closing down our FOB and instead of sending the stuff out to be destroyed, I sent a bunch of it home. A couple of helmets and one vest. We were supposed to gear up our interpreters to the same standard as US troops, but most of the time, they had ACU camo helmets and vests while the we had OCP. Of course, it was easy to tell who interpreters were, they didn't have gear or weapons. BKW
