While US material has always been my main collecting sphere, I have always loved military history in general and I have ended up putting together collections from other nations including British and commonwealth. I am in the process of organizing my collection and properly identifying material for display so any help is greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Robert

captainofthe7th

The badge is for the Middlesex Regiment and the name matches to an officer of the regiment - 8th Bn Midd'x, 2d Lt M C D King to be Lt 10th Dec 1933 and later promoted to Captain in 1937. I think 8th Bn would have been one of the territorial units of the period.

I am sure there is more information on him in the Gazette, but there's a good starting point. Feel free to reach out via PM if you need more help on the research.

Thanks,

Rob
