ussjfkcv67 Posted January 21, 2019 Share #1 Posted January 21, 2019 While US material has always been my main collecting sphere, I have always loved military history in general and I have ended up putting together collections from other nations including British and commonwealth. I am in the process of organizing my collection and properly identifying material for display so any help is greatly appreciated. Regards, Robert Link to comment
captainofthe7th Posted January 22, 2019 Share #4 Posted January 22, 2019 The badge is for the Middlesex Regiment and the name matches to an officer of the regiment - 8th Bn Midd'x, 2d Lt M C D King to be Lt 10th Dec 1933 and later promoted to Captain in 1937. I think 8th Bn would have been one of the territorial units of the period. I am sure there is more information on him in the Gazette, but there's a good starting point. Feel free to reach out via PM if you need more help on the research. Thanks, Rob Link to comment
