SARGE Posted February 2, 2019 Share #1 Posted February 2, 2019 Gents, This is a Volkspolizei motorcycle helmet worn by the East German Traffic Police. There is a green leather winter flap attachment that can be removed from the chin strap system. The winter flap has a place for earphones to be attached so the motorcyclist can hear police radio traffic. Notice the large DDR Volkspolizei star insignia on the front of the helmet.
