AirMechanic Posted February 19, 2019 Share #1 Posted February 19, 2019 Can anyone tell me what these two badges are and when they may date from? The larger badge measures 2 3/4 x 3/4. The metal feels like steel sheet metal. Two sets of numbers appear to be lightly stamped on the back and are a rather hard to read. The top set appears to be 62.1.1. 8412.3., while the bottom numbers appear to be a duplicate of the top numbers. Perhaps a soldiers serial number? Two small screwback studs are also on the back. The other badge measures 1 1/2 x 1/2 and appears to also be steel sheet metal. It also has the same screwback studs as the other badge. This badge reminds me of the US expert Infantry Badge, but smaller. Any idea what these badges are and how old? Any help is appreciated! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
