Bob Hudson Posted February 26, 2019 Share #1 Posted February 26, 2019 A picker friend showed up yesterday to ask about some helmets he'd picked up from an auction. It included a molded plastic replica camo helmet. I have never seen one before and was impressed with paint job: is it a copy of Eastern Front camo? I do like the fact that when you look inside and out it's clearly not the real thing. I forgot to take a photo of the inside when he was here, but it is smooth plastic with what looks like primer paint.
Polygon Posted February 27, 2019 Share #2 Posted February 27, 2019 Probably something for a movie, but nicely done paint job at any rate.
Wake1941 Posted February 27, 2019 Share #3 Posted February 27, 2019 I would say a movie prop as well or even something marketed towards kids in the 60s
skybear70 Posted February 27, 2019 Share #4 Posted February 27, 2019 A movie prop would be my guess as well, but a very well excuted one. Would be an excellent, affordable display piece for someone.
Bob Hudson Posted March 3, 2019 Author Share #5 Posted March 3, 2019 Is this patterned after a helmet that was painted after chicken wire was placed on it?
