Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Starting from the right side column (these are always read right to left) your tag says: 12034 = code number for the 30th Division Medical Unit (the division's code name is 豹 "Hyou") Officially it looks like this: 豹12034 Center column: 60 (usually a company number 1 to 4 so 60 has another meaning, not uncommon) Left side column: "Ban" (abbreviation for bango = number) 78, in his company's records this soldier is #78. The 30th Division served on Leyte, the Philippines and fought at Kabacan April 22, 1945 so a nice tag! Cheers, Rod
