Skysoldier80 Posted April 26, 2019 Share #1 Posted April 26, 2019 I ask this question, because I have always been interested in the Chaco War (1932-35). The Bolivan army (advised by the Germans), which was very modernized, fought and lost against the Paraguayans (advised by the British and some others) and were basically guerillas. Some Bolivian uniforms from this era is a Bucket list item for me, however, I know my question is very niched, but hoping someone has something out there. Thanks in advance. stratasfan Posted April 26, 2019 Share #2 Posted April 26, 2019 Well, I have never heard of the Chaco War, and thanks for posting! I've just done some looking and was reading. Very interesting. Have you seen the line of toy soldiers that are Chaco War soldiers? http://khurasanminiatures.tripod.com/chacowar.html
Skysoldier80 Posted April 28, 2019 Author Share #3 Posted April 28, 2019 No I have not. I once read an article in Military History Quarterly over 10 years ago and then I wrote some papers for my Masters degree in the War, then it turned to a thesis. Very fascinating war. The German contingent practices their idea of Combined Arms Warfare in Bolivia and used lessons learned before they initiated their Blitzkreig of WWII Well, I have never heard of the Chaco War, and thanks for posting!
