After my parents passed away, I was cleaning out one of their dresser drawers and ran across a few souvenirs that he had brought home. This buckle was one of the items that I found. Although he knew that I was interested in military history, he had never mentioned these souvenirs. So unfortunately, I have no idea where or when he picked this up.

It's a little difficult to read, but the tab is dated 1938,

I like it. It is really neat to see a clean buckle with leather tongue dated 1938.
