vintageproductions Posted May 16, 2019 Share #1 Posted May 16, 2019 Always cool to go to a show and find a piece for yourself. Last weekend at the West Coast Historical Military Collectors Show in Pomona California, I found this shoulder board for Emperor Bao Dai's Guards. Bao Dai was the last emperor of Vietnam from 1926-1945. Needless to say these are rare and I doubt I will ever find the other side to make a set, but I'm still very happy to find the one. gwb123 Posted May 18, 2019 Share #2 Posted May 18, 2019 New one on me, Bob. Did you find a reference for this, or just recognize it for what it was?
vintageproductions Posted May 19, 2019 Author Share #3 Posted May 19, 2019 I thought it was a school at first but while I was looking at it the main guy from the ARVN museum in the next city pulled up the info on his phone and showed me what it was.
