You see a lot of these with military themes but this is the first one I have ever found showing a patriotic association member holding a sennabarri, which is what a lot of these members did while standing in front of a shrine, as people walked by and asked them to complete a stitch. I have been trying to figure out what the sash says but cannot make out the characters in the second word (perhaps because of the flash/light reflection) First word is Kougun 皇軍 = Imperial Japanese Army Third word is Sekisei 赤誠 = Sincerity Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
