WW2 Canadian Mk II helmet

I've had this helmet for 25+ years and always thought it was British. Turns out to be Canadian! The liner is marked "7 3/4 VMC II 1942" and the shell is marked "C.L./C. 1943". From what I've found, the shell was made by the Canadian Motor Lamp Co. of Windsor and the liner by Viceroy Manufacturing Co of Toronto. It was a wide flat brass slotted screw that broke off probably 15 years ago so I replaced it with a smaller brass screw and washer. I kept the original though!
