Kanemono Posted August 1, 2019 Share #1 Posted August 1, 2019 Here is a C96 Mauser “Broomhandle” Arsenal cutaway Bolo with long barrel and fixed rear sight. The grips are hard rubber. This pistol dates from the 1920’s 1930’s era. These pistols with the small frame, fixed sight and long barrel were part of a contract sold to France in the late 1920’s. This pistol was a piece used for training French armorers and gunsmiths.
gwb123 Posted August 1, 2019 Share #2 Posted August 1, 2019 Very unique. Also, I did not realize the French bought and used these weapons. Being immediately after WWI they probably negotiated a very reasonable price.
