Bob Hudson Posted August 12, 2019 Share #1 Posted August 12, 2019 I'm helping to liquidate a collection that has real, fake, and reproduction. This camo piece caught my eye first - it has some repairs and looks old, but I really haven't a clue about these:

John4022 Posted August 13, 2019 Share #4 Posted August 13, 2019 I cant comment on the smock. I believe the tabs (A-B-D-E) are originals. I don't like the quality of the officer tabs, the runes seem really sloppy and I don't like the overall construction.

I enlarged them a bit in these images:
John4022 Posted August 13, 2019 Share #6 Posted August 13, 2019 Thanks for the better photos Bob. I still stand by my original opinion. The SS officer tabs are certainly well made but something seems off about them. I have never seen the back be executed without any buckram and so much overlap of black base material. Hopefully more experienced SS cloth collectors will chime in soon Good luck, -John
