Nice flag. Has a really nice "been there" look to it.

It has two (2) patriotic slogans.

義勇奉公 giyuu shikou = to serve with heroism (left)

武運長久 = buun choukyuu = continued luck in the fortunes of war (right)

The flag was given to 塚本 Tsukamoto (surname) 初義 Hatsuyoshi (given name) Kun (Mr.)

The stamp seems to be from 白山 Shirayama

Thank you Eric! I have been waiting to get a flag with this kind of patina. I had someone else translate it too and yours match up except the shrine stamp.

-宮白 印山 : Hakusangu Shrine, Nisshin City, Aichi, Japan... He said it was possibly that shrine and he didn't guarantee it.

I really appreciate it Eric!
