vintageproductions Posted August 21, 2019 Share #1 Posted August 21, 2019 One of the guys who comes in all the time and hits as many state sales as anyone I have ever known, showed up with this Monday. Out of a small USMC bring back grouping. There is either one helluva great story about this soldier and the Marine just picked it up at the end of the war. Either way it is cool..... vintageproductions Posted December 12, 2019 Author Share #3 Posted December 12, 2019 It came out of a US Marine's estate.
Hsin C. Posted December 13, 2019 Share #4 Posted December 13, 2019 Did he get it from the officer like that or was it put together? Because the ribbons are not in order and are just mixed up randomly.
St.Lukas Posted December 13, 2019 Share #5 Posted December 13, 2019 I agree the order is incorrect & points at post war put together
Rakkasan187 Posted December 16, 2019 Share #6 Posted December 16, 2019 Interesting ribbon bar.. I have no knowledge of Japanese ribbons but the bottom ribbon, 2nd from the right ( yellow, blue, white with red center, white, blue, yellow) looks exactly like the Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal ribbon.. Hsin C. Posted December 17, 2019 Share #7 Posted December 17, 2019 It is the Inner Mongolia National Foundation Merit Medal. Neat how it is very close to the Army Reserve ribbon in style.

Airborne-Hunter Posted May 7, 2021 Share #10 Posted May 7, 2021 How many times have we seen an American ribbon bar that is both unusual and out of order? I have a merchant marine air force in from of me right now....and have photos of a navy guy wearing a CIB...I wouldn't right it off
