Can anyone help as to value & or how common it is. Being offered but is 2¹/²

away. What I can find is these were used from early 1900s -60s. Any way to identify as to age?

Optics are clear & have horizontal & vertical ranges intact. Some surface rust & no carrying bags.

Only pics I have.

Thanks in advance Paul 534f474415810c1b07025452f9c3bb97.jpg74652670efb30c24baaa7fb2796ed5dd.jpg4ec93f26614436b9cacd77679f877431.jpg

These trench scopes were used by the German Wehrmacht during WW II until 1945. (I have to check if these were used by Artillery forward observers as range finders especially). I have seen some of these in much better condition including case and carrying bag offered online in the $400 - $ 800 range.

"Rust" turned out to be sawdust & oil, cleaned up good.

Optics are good & everything works properly.

I can only find 1 referenced example online + ad from mine.

No problem, can take others if needed.

Are the numbers part #s or units?
