BEAST Posted January 3, 2020 Share #1 Posted January 3, 2020 I posted this on USMF recently. This came from a group of souvenirs that was brought home by a US Soldier who served in the CBI. It's a Japanese postcard, but it has writing that I believe are Chinese signatures. I would appreciate any help in translating or identifying those who signed the card. Eric Queen Posted January 3, 2020 Share #2 Posted January 3, 2020 My guess is that most have already been translated. Looks like you have a name in Chinese characters then the alphabetic representation of the name next to it. The only non-name that I see it the "Victory for the Allies" phrase (in red box) 同盟勝利
BEAST Posted January 3, 2020 Author Share #3 Posted January 3, 2020 Thanks Eric for your response. That makes a lot of sense. Now it would be nice to know why and how an enlisted Airman has these autographs.
