kaydees Posted January 7, 2020 Share #1 Posted January 7, 2020 I need help in identifying this WWII Japanese leather pouch. I purchased it as an Japanese Engineer's leather pouch. I do not know what was placed inside. The inside is made of a Bakelite or plastic that held 2 different items. Two larger items and four smaller items in the center. There is only one Kanji marking and it is on the leather sling, Sling Marking Inspector Stamp Higashi 東. There is a flat that covers the bottom section and appears something else was placed on top of the flap. Thanks for any help, kaydees
