vintageproductions Posted May 26, 2020 Share #1 Posted May 26, 2020 The sennabarri has the most good luck coins I have ever owned. Usually there is one or two but this one is covered. I hope it brought the soldier good luck as I am sure it weighed him down when he wore it.....
Ivydiv Posted May 26, 2020 Share #2 Posted May 26, 2020 Very interesting piece. Never seen so many at one time. Like you say, usually one or two but never like this. Cool piece. Dave
Rod Posted May 27, 2020 Share #3 Posted May 27, 2020 Congrats! That's one wildly impressive senninbari. Heavy as it is, your guy probably didn't starve to death. Writing says: 野砲兵 Field Artillery Last name: Unsure First name: 太郎 Tarou
Fortunes Of War Posted May 27, 2020 Share #4 Posted May 27, 2020 Great belt Bob! I don't think that I have seen that many coins sewn to a belt either. My guess is that he was going for a little bit of the "bullet proof" effect too. The coins look like a combination of 5-sen and 10-sen coins.
