Question raised on Japanese Paratrooper Jump Case?

Today I was showing a friend a new Japanese Type 2 paratrooper rifle I just picked up. The question arouse, did they have a canvas or some other material jump case to house the rifle when they parachuted in? I thought about it, and never recall seeing anything that was used during the jump/landing. Question is, did they have such a case, and does anyone have any reference or photos of it? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Dave
