Nkomo Posted July 19, 2020 Share #1 Posted July 19, 2020 After a lengthy wait, I was finally got one of my "holy grail" items in yesterday. A used set of Afghan Northern Alliance Lizard camo set and a new lizard M-65. These were used very early on and not many survived.

There was a lot of Soviet equipment left over after the Soviet withdrawal of Afghanistan in 1988. The Afghans just used what was left.

Nkomo Posted May 5, 2021 Author Share #7 Posted May 5, 2021 Some years back, I bought a very used Soviet leather belt with a Tokarev holster direct from a 5th Special Forces Group veteran. The belt and holster were worn by his Northern Alliance counterpart in the early days of the Enduring Freedom. I'll try to dig it out and post it here.
